The Island was converted in to museum that represents the liberation and victory of the human spirit. Formal tours are held to show the cell where almost 3000 freedom fighters were kept between 1962 and 1991. Such tours are mostly done on the supervision of former prisoners. 

Chapman’s Peak Drive

Chapman’s peak drive was formally known as “Hout Bay – Noorde Hoek Road”. It is one of the most picturesque coastal drives in the world.
